Theme: Regenerative & Redemptive Impact

Qualitative is such an underrated word in social impact.
To make a meaningful difference, the right question to ask is, “What kind of impact?” Not all impact are created equal. Regenerative practices actively seek to renew and revitalize ecological systems and communities. These practices enhance the inherent capacity of natural systems to self-regulate and support life, building resilience and long-term well-being for both human and ecological spheres.
The paradigm shifts from “doing less bad” to “doing more good”, and so contributes net positive benefits to society. Our social justice and ecological systems are broken. A redemptive-oriented approach aims to restore and heal these systems, because there is no restoration without healing. Our social impact cannot be stuck at where we started, it should progress and get better, because change alone is not good enough.
It is time we qualified our social impact to go deep, rather than just wide.
